Safari Park
We took Camden to the Virginia Safari Park last weekend. It is a drive-through zoo where you get to feed the animals from inside your car. We had so much fun! In fact, Jeff and I were enjoying ourselves so much, that we weren't really paying attention to Camden in the back seat. We had to ask him later if he was having fun. Thankfully, the answer was yes. He loved seeing all of the animals, but was happy to let Mommy and Daddy do all of the feeding while he watched. He didn't really want the animals getting too close. The park also has a small walk-through portion. In that section there are giraffes that you can feed. Camden actually let a giraffe eat right out of his hand. We were surprised, but he loved it. What a great day!
In other news, Camden is FINALLY sleeping in his big boy bed. It turned out to be a much easier transition than we anticipated. After a couple of nights of us having to go in his room every couple of hours, he started falling asleep and staying all night by himself. It's been 2 weeks now and he's doing great!
