What's in a Name?

From the time Camden was born, we've had an ongoing discussion in our family about what the various grandparents would be called. The discussions usually ended with someone saying, "We'll just have to wait and let him decide what he wants to call us." Well, that day has finally come. After months of trying to get Camden to call Jeff's mom "Grammy", out of the blue one day at the beach this summer he called her "Mimi." So, that's now her name. One down. Not long after that, we were visiting Melissa's parents when he called her mom "Grammy." Guess we were trying to associate that name with the wrong grandma all this time...Finally, after trying for quite a while to get Camden to refer to Melissa's dad as "Grandpa," he started calling him "Papa." Guess "Grandpa" was a little too big of a word.
