Cute Sayings

Camden continues to expand his vocabulary. In addition to learning quite a few new words, he's starting to use 2-3 word sentences. His favorite thing to do is "name that object." He loves pointing to things in books, around the house, or anywhere we happen to be, and either naming the things himself or having us identify them for him. He seems to constantly be learning something new. We're amazed at what a quick learner he is and are convinced he's brilliant (though we may be a bit biased). Here's a sampling of some of the things he's saying these days (with translations where necessary):

• I shoe ("I love you")
• I got it
• Sit down/Sit down here
• Dat do ("Thank you")
• All done (accompanied by hands out with palms up)
• All clean
• Not nice (accompanied by a waging finger)
• Potty (Guess what fun activity is in our not-too-distant future??)
• Shoe
• Nose
• Eye
• Ear
• Foot
• Book
• Guck ("duck")
• Horsie
• Dog
• Frah ("frog")
• Fophie ("Sophie" - our cat)
• Bay-bee (when he sees a baby)
• Baby! (This one is too cute! Camden has heard Mommy and Daddy call each other "Baby", sometimes yelling out from various rooms of the house to get the other's attention. He's picked up on this and will mimic us, going through the house yelling, "Baby!")
• Uh-oh
• Yeah (accompanied by a cute grin)
• No (We hear this one too much...)
• Cah ("car" - You'd think he's a little yankee...)
• Choo-choo (his word for train)
• Ou-side ("outside")
• Mon-tea ("monkey")
• Wa-wa ("water")
• Eye-stein ("Einstein" - No, he's not referring to Albert, but to the Little Einsteins, one of his favorite cartoons.)
