First Haircut

Camden got his first haircut this past weekend. His hair was starting to get a little long and unruly in the back, so we decided it was time for a trim. We took him to a new salon in the area that is just for kids. The stylists' chairs were all shaped like cars or planes, and they had little TVs at each station so that the kids could watch cartoons while getting their hair cut. The hope was that the kid-friendly atmosphere would make the whole experience a little less strange to Camden. Well, he was scared of the "plane" seat and would only stand on it with mommy right beside him. He didn't want to wear the cape until we convinced him it was a big bib. He enjoyed watching Thomas the Train on the little TV, but could not figure out why this woman would not leave his hair alone. He kept giving her the strangest looks. It was really funny. All in all, he handled this first experience very well. And, of course, his new big boy hair style is very cute!
