Walking

Camden has been on the verge of walking for almost a month now. He would take 2-3 steps at a time, with his maximum being 5, before dropping to the floor to continue crawling. Well today he decided to give this walking thing a chance. At church this morning he walked 10 steps across the nursery to greet mommy. I think we made such a big deal out of it that he decided he must have done something really good. All afternoon at home he walked around his play area in the living room, all the while seeming so proud of himself. He went from toy to toy, to his gate, to the couch, to mommy and daddy, and so on. By bedtime, he was walking anywhere from 15-20 steps at a time. What a big day!

Camden also learned to blow kisses this week. He can't quite make the smacking sound, so when he pulls his hand away from his mouth he says "baaa." It is so cute. To top it off, he thinks it's funny and laughs every time he does it. It is absolutely the most adorable thing we've ever seen! Yes, grandparents, we got it on video...
