Our Little Crab

We spent Labor Day weekend at the beach. It was the only trip we've taken this year by ourselves, so it was kind of a mini family vacation. It was fun to see how differently Camden reacted to everything this time than he did when we took him to the beach just a couple of months ago. This time, he was all about exploring and playing with every grain of sand he could find. He also loved splashing around in the water at the edge of the shore. We dubbed him "our little crab" because that's exactly what he looked like scooting about on the sand. He crawls with two hands, his right foot up on the ground, and his left knee follows behind. It's very cute to see and was even more adorable on the sandy beach. Just like a little crab...

Camden also got to enjoy floating in the lazy river with mommy and daddy at our hotel. He definitely looked relaxed with his legs propped up on the innertube and his little feet crossed. Boy, does he have it made. What a life!
