Four Months Old
Have you been wondering about us? Sorry this update is so long overdue. February has been a crazy month. It seems like at least one of us has been sick every day for the past few weeks. We’ve decided Camden loves to share, so he brings home to mommy and daddy every germ from day care that he can find…Camden turned 4 months old on Valentine’s Day, and he had his well-child check-up yesterday. He now weighs 13 lbs 8 oz. and is 25 inches long. He had to get 3 shots, which is never fun, but he handled it like a champ. And for the best news…the doctor said we could start giving Camden CEREAL! We’re hoping this might speed him along the road to sleeping through the night. We’ll see… Our first experience with the cereal last night, however, didn’t go too well. He actually seemed to like the first bite and didn’t want to give up the spoon. Having to wait between bites for mommy to refill the spoon, however, got frustrating for him really fast. We decided maybe we should try it when he’s not so hungry. Wish us luck…
It seems like just as he turned 4 months old, Camden started doing new things. He’s discovered his feet, and loves playing with them. He’s also learned that he can lift his body up by pushing his feet against whatever he’s lying on. This makes changing his diaper or clothes a whole new experience, as we now have to chase his dancing body around the changing table. Yesterday at the doctor’s office, he just about catapulted himself off of the scale. It was so funny! Camden continues to love to make noises and to blow "raspberries" with his drool. His latest trick is sticking his tongue out. He thinks he's so cute and grins when he does it.
It is so much fun watching Camden grow and experience new things. What a blessing! And doesn’t he just have the sweetest smile you have ever seen? It makes his mommy melt every time…

Thank you! We've looked every week for new photos! Our little man is really growing right along. Give him a hug and kiss from Uncle W. and Aunt G. He is so precious. God bless you all.
