Day Care...The Adventure Begins

Camden's first day of day care was yesterday. Apparently, he played hard and slept very little because he was one tired little boy last night! He fell asleep in the car on the way home--a 5-minute drive. Mommy woke him up to feed him. After eating, he fell asleep again, despite attempts by us to keep him awake so that he would sleep good overnight. That turned out to not be necessary because he slept a straight 5.5 hours. (We took advantage of this by going to sleep ourselves at about 9pm.) Camden then woke up, ate maybe a half a bottle (a mere snack), then slept another 4 hours before being ready to eat again. At that feeding he actually finished his bottle, but he had no trouble falling right back to sleep. Mommy then had to wake him at 6:30am so we could start our daily routine all over again. All total, Camden slept about 11 hours last night! This was DEFINITELY a record for him. Though we missed having much time to play and "talk" with him last night, it was nice to not have to stay up until he was ready for his last feeding of the day and bedtime. We're sure this will change once he's learned he can nap at day care. Until then, we'll make the most of it by getting as much sleep as we can!
